MISSION STATEMENT
All of us at North Carolina Dog Fence are dedicated to the idea that all pets deserve the opportunity to play and run free as long as there are boundaries and limitations for them.
As we travel the roads and highways of the Triad we see dogs that have been injured, sometimes fatally, along the sides of the road. This saddens us because we know we could have helped prevent that from happening.
Every bulletin board we read has at least one "lost dog" poster on it, knowing there is someone missing his or her best friend and we know we could have helped with that too.
This is why in 2000 we stated our own underground dog fencing compony. We know it works and we know we can help you too. We utilize state of the art electronics in conjunction with a proven training program to achieve this goal.

The only point to remember is that all underground containment systems work basically the same way. When the pet gets too close to the underground boundary wire it will receive a mild static correction through the receiver collar it is wearing around its neck. I can’t stress this point enough; they all work the same way. Some sales people will try to convince you that their system is better or different because of the features they have to offer. This is BUNK; the only feature needed is that the receiver has multiple levels of correction for use on different size/temperament dogs. Also you should consider you may be using the same receiver sometime in the future on a different pet and you want it to be adjustable for that pet as well. In your efforts to educate yourself and make the best choice you can to keep your pet safe, you will very likely be overwhelmed with information. With your permission I will try to clear up some of the confusion now.
You can pay more for a system but that doesn't mean it is the best system. Others companies charge more because there are people willing to pay more. This doesn't mean there system is better, just more expensive.
